Middle School

Many of our middle school activities take place through Zion’s confirmation ministry. We do, however, offer additional opportunities for fellowship and learning. One of our most popular annual events is the Northeastern Iowa Synod Middle School Lock-In at UNI in October. We stay up all night and enjoy swimming, games, music, Bible study, and lots of good food! Other annual events include a Christmas party in December and a ski trip in January. We also encourage our middle school students to consider spending a week at Camp Ewalu (www.ewalu.org) during the summer.
